South Eastern Railway wooden mile marker 72 3/4. This is from the Appledore to New Romney Branch between Lydd town and Lydd-On-Sea, adjacent to the British Quarrying Co siding. The section remains open for removal of nuclear waste from Dungeness Power station. Later on these signs would have been replaced with cast iron ones. In good as removed condition measures 13in x 10.75in. A rare survivor.
