South African Railways, single language brass Cabside Numberplate 1787 15AR. Ex 4-8-2 loco built by the North British Locomotive Company in 1914 and originally classified class 15A. Reboilered with Watson Standard no. 2A boilers, hence the addition of the 'R' on the plate. Ex loco condition with red background to centre and blue background to outer.
