South African Railways dual language brass Cabside Numberplate 3512 Class 25 4-8-4. Built by the North British Railway Co in 1953 under works number 27372. This was one of the condensing locos and the plate is the original that was fitted before conversion to non-condensing, the subsequent plates carrying the 'NC' suffix. Oval cast brass in face restored condition, measures 20.5in x 14.5in.
