Smokebox Numberplate 6987. Ex GWR design 4-6-0 'Modified' Hall Class Locomotive SHERVINGTON HALL. Built Swindon in March 1948, it was allocated initially to Gloucester. Migrating northwards in the mid 50's, it saw service at Worcester and then Stourbridge Junction and by the early 60's, was a regular out of Wolverhampton Stafford Road. By September 1964, it was withdrawn from Cardiff East Dock. Magnificent, ex loco condition.
