Smokebox Numberplate 62733. Ex LNER D49 'Shire' Class 4-4-0 locomotive, built Darlington March 1929, numbered 2758 and named NORTHUMBERLAND. In 1946 it received the number 2733, becoming 62733 in March 1948. Very much a Haymarket locomotive, withdrawal finally coming in April 1961 and this plate was subsequently purchased by the Vendor, from York.
