Smokebox numberplate 48775 ex LMS Stanier Class 8F 2-8-0 built at Crewe in 1937 and originally numbered WD 70512 and served on the Longmoor Military Railway as Longmoor 512. Sent by the WD to Eastleigh for overhaul in 1957 and then sold to BR and numbered 48775. Allocated to Polmadie, Carlisle Kingmoor, Newton heath, Agecroft, Patricroft and 10D Lostock Hall from where it was withdrawn in August 1968 and scrapped. In lightly cleaned condition with BR Eastleigh triangle cast into the back.
