Smokebox Numberplate 45287. Ex Stanier Black 5 4-6-0 Locomotive, built by Armstrong Whitworth in December 1936 under Works number 1342. Allocations include Bescot, Tyseley, Shrewsbury, Edge Hill, Patricroft and Rose Grove. Made it pretty well until the very end of steam, indeed it was seen in steam on the 3rd August 1968 at Lostock Hall and was withdrawn from there that very day. Sent to TW Ward Beighton in February 1969 for disposal.
