Smokebox Numberplate 2226. Ex GWR 0-6-0 Locomotive, built Swindon in 1940 and allocated to Didcot. Spent many years there before moving to Landore from where withdrawal took place in 1959. The white numerals on a red background appear to be original, the back certainly is ex loco and interestingly, 'Old Oak Common' is faintly visible.
