A small collection of 8 Locomotive Photographic Prints signed by William Stanier. Includes streamlined and rebuilt Coronation Class and Black 5s. Accompanied by hand written and signed letter complete with original, hand written envelope dated 4th August 1960. The only photograph not signed, is one of the Coronation Pacific named after himself. The Vendors Father became acquainted with both Stanier and Bulleid at an exclusive London Club. Also in the front of the album, over 50 b/w Prints of 1880's Scottish built steam locomotives. A rare archive indeed. Together with a portfolio of qty 10 Historic Canadian Loco Prints, each 8 x 10.
