The ex TVR shed at Cathays had an allocation of 80 locos, while ex GWR shed Radyr had 55 locos during this period. Ex GWR Canton?s allocation of 130 included 12 Britannias until September 1961. Canton closed to steam in September 1962 and became a diesel depot. Lightly face restored.
