Shedplate 74A Ashford 1950-October 1958. This ex SR shed had six King Arthurs in an allocation of 60 in 1950. By the time it was recoded 73F in 1958, the total number of locos was down to 40.It finally closed to steam in June 1962. In as removed condition this pattern most likely was cast at Ashford not Eastleigh.
