Shedplate 56G Bradford Hammerton Street July 1956-December 1967. This ex GNR shed, formerly 37C, was transferred to the NER when it took on this code. It lost its steam allocation of 33 locos in 1958, becoming a DMU depot. As well as many units, a number of Class 03 and 04 shunting locos carried this code. In July 1967 it became 55F and finally closed during 1985.
