Royal Sun Alliance Shields, a trio. The first is alloy set separately into 3 hexagonal areas with a wooden frame. The inserts show the Sun, Castle and 3 Anchor Shield. The second is resin and has the central Royal Insurance Company Shield in red with the golden Lion & Unicorn either side and scroll beneath 'Tutum Te Sistam'. The third is also resin and is an extremely interesting plaque made for the 1945 centenary year. It shows the Royal Insurance Company 'family tree' starting at the base of the trunk with the Royal Insurance Co Crest and then no fewer than 38 subsidiary companies depicted with, predominantly circular logos. Quite a stunning piece in its own right.
