Poster, British Railways Q/R Scottish Region, famous un-titled by Terence Cuneo depicting the blue Glasgow suburban Helensburgh Electric Unit passing a steam loco one side and Clyde Tugs the other side. A wonderful execution, as always, by this number one artist. The poster has suffered some damage over time and attempted repairs with cellotape have left marks. There are considerable tears but close inspection shows that the poster is just about all there. This means with a little tlc, it could be brought back to its former glory, especially if it were to be mounted on linen. The colour is still vibrant and despite the damage, it is a quite wonderful scene.
