A wonderful collection of good quality, 'bought' photographs, mostly b/w but some colour. The Vendor had attempted a complete run of ex GWR 'named' locos during BR days and was not far from completion. Pure nostalgia and an interesting project to complete. Includes approx 500 mainly b/w good quality photographs (with some interesting colour photos): 60 Colour Rail Slides: Assorted Tickets and letters from BR days. Also 3 Birmingham Post Posters from the 1960's advertising the very early Tyseley Open days. Also a couple of prints including a Cuneo of the Jubilee at Tyseley. Must be viewed to appreciate the scale of this lot.
