Original Oil Painting 'Aston Cross Birmingham' by Eric Bottomley G.R.A. (Guild of Railway Artists). A magnificent painting depicting a 1953, Coronation Year' scene of Tram 637 working No 2 route from Erdington to the city centre at the junction of Lichfield Road and Witton Park Road. The tram, along with three others shares the scene with a red MG open top sports car and a half-cab double decker. A recent shower has deposited a film of water on the road and the reflections add depth and reality to complete the scene. Beautifully framed, it measures 32 x 43
