North Eastern Railway Oak cased Fusee Clock. An early clock with a moulded wooden surround, back box with 2 side and bottom door. It is a good quality English fusee movement with shaped shoulders. The dial has been re-written post 1948 and now reads 'BR(NE) 11684'. The LNER clock records show that this clock was located at South Stockton Yard Masters office. A nice early clock that has been recently overhauled , complete with pendulum and key.
