North Eastern Railway 12in dial mahogany cased railway clock probably supplied by Harrison & Son of Darlington with a wire driven English fusee movement which has rectangular screwed plates. The original dial has had it railway company and number removed but clearly visible on the back of the dial is BR(NE) 5498. The case is in original condition with one side door and a bottom door secured with a brass lock key missing, its also retains its original cast brass bezel. The LNER records show the clock as last being in use at the Norham Station Cabin (signal Box). In working order but would certainly benefit from a clean and not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum, key and copy of the LNER clock record. A nice project.
