North Eastern Railway 12in dial mahogany cased drop dial railway clock with a wire driven English fusee movement. The original dial has been restored back to its original condition showing HARRISON & SON DARLINGTON and visible is ghosted writing BR(NE) 2786. The case is in nicely restored condition with a lenticle window to the drop. In working condition complete with pendulum and key and a detailed fact sheet of its restoration by Dr. D. R. Parr. The LNER records show the clock as last being in use at the Assistant Works Managers Office at Darlington Locomotive Works.
