Nameplate THE WELCH REGIMENT ex LMS Royal Scot 4-6-0 built by The North British Locomotive Company Glasgow in 1927 and originally numbered 6139 and 46139 in 1948. Allocations included Camden, Kentish Town and 26A Newton Heath from where it was withdrawn in October 1962. Scrapped the following year at Crewe Works. Face restored and one dot punch to rear indicating this is the left hand plate.
