Nameplate THE TYNEDALE with original, right facing, smooth fur Fox being the right side nameplate. Ex LNER D49 Hunt Class Locomotive, last of the class, built at Darlington in February 1935 and numbered 377. Re-numbered 2775 in November 1946 and then to 62775 by BR in September 1948. Withdrawn in December 1958. Although it carries the smooth fur Fox, inspection shows no reverse stampings indicating either it was missed or, it may be an early replacement Note: The Tynedale Hunt was formed in 1839 at Corbridge in Northumberland, and operated in an area ranging roughly from the Tyne to the Wansbeck and from Hexham to Ponteland.
