Nameplate TREMATON CASTLE ex Great Western Railway Collett Castle 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1933 as order number 280 and numbered 5020. Allocated to Laira, Cardiff Canton, Landore, Penzance, Taunton, Exeter and 87F Llanelli from where it was withdrawn in November 1962 and scrapped at Swindon works. In lightly cleaned original condition. Named after the Castle two miles west of Saltash Bridge in Cornwall. Scratched R on the back indicating this is the right hand side plate. Note this is not the side sold elsewhere in March 2023.
