Renumbered 86231 under TOPS in January 1974 and was named on the 1st October 1984 by Andrew Lloyd Webber at Euston Station. It was named to launch the London - Glasgow 'Starlight Express' low-price overnight service. Currently stored at Long Marsden. This plate is a Swindon casting.
