Nameplate set BARNSTAPLE ex Southern Railway Bullied Light Pacific 4-6-2 built at Brighton in 1945 and numbered 21C105 and later 34005. Allocations included Exmouth Junction, Nine Elms, Stewarts Lane, Bricklayers Arms, Salisbury and 70F Bournemouth from where it was withdrawn in October 1966. Scrapped the following year at Buttigiegs Newport. The nameplate and scroll have been face restored and the enamel Town Coat Of Arms has had a small chip expertly repaired. A rare chance to obtain one of the best West Country names. The other side belongs to Barnstaple Town Council.
