Nameplate METEOR. Ex BR/EE 25kv Bo-Bo Class 86 originally numbered E3166. Built by the English Electric Co under works number E3458/E304 in October 1965. Renumbered 86216 under TOPS in October 1973 and named at Willesden without ceremony on 1st August 1979. Withdrawn in April 1998 and spent almost five years dumped at Willesden, Glasgow works and Immingham Railfreight Terminal. Finally, it was broken up by Easco, on site at Immingham in March 2003.
