Nameplate MARSHALL-FOCH ex Peckett 0-4-0ST built in 1918 as works number 1523 and delivered new to Ebbw Vale Steel Iron & Coal Company, Ebbw Vale and numbered 33. Rectangular cast brass in restored condition, measures 44.75in x 6in. Named after the famous World War One French Commander who became Supreme Allied Commander in late March 1918 in the face of the all-out German spring offensive, He stopped the German offensive and launched a war-winning counterattack.
