Nameplate MARBURY HALL. Ex GWR 'Hall' Class Locomotive number 6981, built Swindon in February 1948 and allocated new to Weston-S-Mare. Moved to Bristol Bath Road becoming a long term resident before a final move to Bristol St Philip's Marsh from where withdrawal took place in March 1964. Cut up at Bird's Bridgend. Note Marbury Hall was situated near Northwich in Cheshire and was demolished in 1968.
