Nameplate KLIPSPRINGER ex LNER Thompson B1 4-6-0 built at Darlington in 1944 and numbered LNER 8308, 1007 and BR 61007. Allocated to Darlington, Haymarket, Dundee Tay Bridge, Dalry Road, St Margarets, Eastfield and 67C Ayr from where it was withdrawn in February 1964 and scrapped at Campbells (Airdrie). Face restored with L stamped in the top indicating this is the Left hand side, measures 48in x 6.5in.
