Nameplate HEATHERDEN HALL ex GWR Collett Hall 4-6-0 6946, built at Swindon in 1942. Allocated to Cardiff Canton and 86G Pontypool Road from where it was withdrawn in June 1964 and scrapped later the same year at Birds, Risca. Lightly face restored and stamped L 6946 on the back indicating this is the left hand side plate, a nice long fully beaded Hall name.
