Nameplate FRINGFORD MANOR. Ex GWR 4-6-0 locomotive built Swindon in January 1939 and numbered 7814. First allocation was Westbury and in August 1950 shed allocation Plymouth Laira. In March 1959 shed allocation was Machynlleth for work over the former Cambrian lines but then moved to Didcot in May 1965 Final shed allocation was Gloucester Horton Road from where withdrawal took place in September 1965. Scrapped at Bird's, Long Marston. This is the left hand plate, stamped in the rear L7814. The original BR Swindon receipt accompanies.
