Nameplate EARL OF PLYMOUTH ex GWR Collett Castle Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1936 as order number 303 and numbered 5049. Originally named Denbigh Castle then Earl Of Plymouth in 1937. Allocated to Worcester, Cardiff Canton, Newton Abbot, Laira, Bristol Bath Road and 82B St Philips Marsh from where it was withdrawn in March 1962 and scrapped at Cashmore's Newport. In face restored condition. Note this plate was originally fitted to Dukedog 3206 Built November 1936 from the frame of 3428 and the boiler of 3267.
