Nameplate EARL OF DUCIE. Ex GWR Collet 4-6-0 Castle Class Locomotive number 5054 built Swindon September 1936 originally named Lamphey Castle and re named to Earl Of Ducie in September 1937. Shedded at Old Oak Common, Cardiff Canton, Bristol Bath Road, Carmarthen, Neath (Court Sart), Llanelly, Hereford, Worcester, and withdrawn from 85B Gloucester Horton Road in October 1964 scrapped later the same year at Swindon Works. In nicely restored condition, rear stamped L indicating the is the left hand plate.
