Nameplate DOUGLAS Ex Isle of Man Railway Beyer Peacock 2-4-0T numbered 9. It saw service on the Island until the mid 1950's and was cosmetically restored in 1969 and then sold in 1978 but remained at the railway. It is currently undergoing restoration. Rectangular cast brass in original condition, measures 21in x 5in. Entered by the Three Foot gauge Society Ltd. The worksplate is also being offered in this auction by a different vendor, so a chance to obtain the set from this historic locomotive.
