Nameplate DEWI SANT SAINT DAVID. Ex British Railways class Brush built class 47 numbered D1927 released to traffic in January 1966 and allocated to Bristol Bath Road. Renumbered 47600 under TOPS and named at Fishguard Harbour station by Mr P B Happe, Director of Sealink, Ferries Division on July 19th 1985 as part of the GWR 150 celebrations and comes complete with it loco naming plaque. Plates removed in May 1991. A Swindon casting in as removed condition, nameplate measures 45.25in x 17.75in and plaque 9in x 2.5in. Complete with Great Western Railways Certificate of Authenticity.
