Nameplate CITY OF LONDON from the Great Central Railway Robinson Class 1 4-6-0 built at Gorton in March 1913 and numbered GCR 427, LNER 5427 and 1492. Withdrawn in November 1947 and scrapped. Rectangular cast brass face restored, measures 49in x 5in.
