Nameplate BOMBAY. Ex GWR 4-4-0 Bulldog Class locomotive number 3408 built Swindon Works April 1904 as number 3470. First allocation was Exeter and stayed in the West Country at Plymouth and Penzance for many years. Moved East to Weymouth and Westbury before a spell in West Wales. Withdrawn 10th April 1948 and cut up at Caerphilly Works 15th May 1948. Face has some restoration over original paint. Full history datasheet and a framed photograph accompany.
