Nameplate BEARLEY GRANGE, right hand side. Ex GWR 4-6-0 'Grange Class' locomotive, built Swindon August 1937 and initially allocated to Banbury then Tyseley where it remained pretty well until nationalisation. Later at Birkenhead and St. Philip's Marsh and finally, Oxley by May 1965. Withdrawn October 1965 and cut up at G. Cohen, Kettering. 4 photographs and the Bill Peto history sheet accompany.
