Nameplate BATH ABBEY ex GWR Castle Class 4-6-0 numbered 5083 which was rebuilt in June 1937 from the 1922 built Star Class 4-6-0 No 4063 whose name it retained with the addition of the Castle Class appendage below the name. Allocated to Landore, Neath Court Sart, Swindon, Bristol Bath Road and 85A Worcester from where it was withdrawn in January 1959 and scrapped at Swindon Works. The Abbey was founded in 1499 in the City of Bath. In original condition.
