Nameplate BARRY CASTLE from the GWR Collett Castle Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1948 as order number 367 and numbered 7012. Allocated to Landore, Swindon, Carmarthen, Old Oak Common, Stafford Road and 84B Oxley from where it was withdrawn in November 1964 and scrapped at Cashmore's Great Bridge. In lightly cleaned condition with R 7012 stamped in the back indicating this is the right hand side plate. Barry Castle was near the town of the same name in South Wales.
