Nameplate BROUGHTON CASTLE ex GWR Collett Castle 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1935 and numbered 5033. Allocated to Stafford Road, Chester West, and 81F Oxford from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and scrapped the same year at Cashmore's Great Bridge. Stamped in the back R IN No 5033 Lot 296 indicitaing this is the right hand nameplate and the front has been lightly cleaned and the first time either side has appeared for sale. Broughton Castle is a moated and fortified manor house near Banbury Oxfordshire.
