Midland Railway Badge 'STEWARD Midland RAILy BALL' with blue ribbon, enamel bar at top with the word 'STEWARD', and the main body having a porcelain image of a red tender locomotive, a scroll with the text in blue backed enamel above and finally an enamel Wyvern above that having a maroon background. Makers name 'Kenning & Son, London on rear. Quite superb condition but the ribbon has through time, become a tiny bit worn. Together with a superb little bronze Midland Railway Rifle Club Medallion with the Wyvern dominating the front and the word 'MARKSMAN' on the obverse. To complete this, there is a LMS WW2 enamel Railway Service Badge and an LMS Certificate for service through the General Strike. The badges belonged to the vendor's grandfather, the certificate to his grandmother. A very nice, family collection.
