Midland Railway 12in dial longcase clock by Reuben Bosworth of Nottingham. The oak case with arched pediment hood and front opening door retains its brass LMS oval numberplate 14162 and the dial has been rewritten circa 1930 L.M.S.R. JOHN WALKER 1 SOUTH MOLTON ST LONDON 14162, the A frame weight driven movement is in good condition and retains its original steel pendulum rod. A rare clock and the only one we have seen with LMS John Walker dial writing, in working condition complete with pendulum, key and weight. Circa 1860
