Midland Railway 12 inch mahogany cased drop dial fusee clock supplied by JOHN SMITH & SONS of Derby. The original dial is lettered BR(E) 15479 and this was applied by Doncaster clock workshops after the regional boundary changes in the 1950's. The English wire driven fusee movement has shaped shoulders and is clean condition and the mahogany case with lenticle window and ornate surround is in good condition. The LNER clock records show that the clock was last in railway service at Sheffield Healey Station Telegraph Office and was LMS clock number 12964. A nice clock in working condition complete with pendulum and key.
