Manchester Sheffield and Lincolnshire mahogany cased 12 inch fusee railway dial clock with a spun brass bezel and large A frame chain driven English fusee movement supplied to the MS&L in the mid 19th Century by William McFerran of Manchester. The restored dial is lettered W. McFerran M.S.& L Victoria St 137 Manchester, the rear of the dial is painted BR(E) 7453. The Ebonised case is in nicely restored condition with on side door, bottom door secured with a ring pull catch. The LNER clock records show this clock as last in use at Wath Yard Signal Box. In working condition but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key and a detailed information sheet from Dr D.R. Parr who carried out the clocks restoration and a copy of the LNER Clock record.
