Manchester Sheffield and Lincolnshire mahogany cased 12 inch fusee railway clock with a large A frame chain driven English fusee movement in cleaned condition supplied by W. McFerran of Victoria St Manchester. The original dial lettered BR(E) 8334 and the rear of the dial is painted BR(E) 8334 and repaired June 2000 Ian Lyman. The ebonised mahogany case has the original side flap door, a replaced bottom door secured with a brass turn catch and a spun brass bezel. The LNER clock records show this clock as last in use at Grimsby Docks Parcels office and was MSL clock number 359. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key. Circa 1870.
