Lytham Trams blue and white enamel Poster Board Heading , measuring 25x7 and bearing the makers name Protector Eccles, this is a rare sign probably dating from the opening in 1896 of the Blackpool, St.Annes and Lytham Tramways company, this initially used gas powered trams and was later converted to electric operation in 1903, the local council took over in 1920 and closed down the tramway in 1937.
