London & North Western Railway 8 inch mahogany cased fusee railway clock with a cast brass bezel and a rectangular plated wire driven English fusee movement. The original dial displays WRAY & SON BIRMINGHAM L&N.W.RY Coy. The case has one side door and a bottom door secured with a brass lock and has the LNWR enamel clock numberplate 2019 screwed to the side. A rare clock from one of the smaller suppliers to the LNWR circa 1880. In good working order complete with pendulum and key. This clock is featured in the Railway clock book by I.P. Lyman page 102.
