London Midland & Scottish Railway 10 inch oak cased fusee railway clock with a rectangular plated English fusee movement, supplied circa 1930. The original dial displays BR(E) 15088 which would have been applied around 1950 when the Eastern region took over some former Midland region clocks. The case has one side door and a bottom door with cock beading and lock missing. The LNER clock records show this clock as last used at Chesterfield, Goods Brompton Wharfe Weigh Machine Office and that it was LMS clock number 12575. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key. Comes with a copy of the LNER clock record.
