London Brighton and South Coast Railway teak cased 18 inch dial weight driven regulator wall clock that was supplied to the LBSCR in 1889 at a cost of 11-10-0d by Grimshaw Baxter & Elliott Ltd of London, it spent its entire railway working life at West Worthing Railway Station Platform. The Dial has been repainted in the original LB&SCR style and the case is stamped 782B, the movement has four spoke wheels, deadbeat escapement, Harrison's maintaining power and a deal pendulum rod with the remnants of its cast zinc cylindrical pendulum bob which will need a suitable replacement, it appears complete and has a weight and weight pulley. It will make an impressive timepiece when restored. 82 inches tall x 23 inches wide.
