London Brighton and South Coast Railway silver Station Masters pocket watch. The silver case is hallmarked for Birmingham 1902 and bears the case makers initials A.L.D., the inside hinged movement dust cover is hand engraved LONDON BRIGHTON & SOUTH COAST RAILWAY No 628 and is in pristine condition. The American Waltham watch company 15 jewelled top wound and set movement is in excellent working order and the enamel dial is clean and free from chips and cracks. Measures 50mm in diameter and 20mm thick. Accompanying the watch is the official BR receipt dated 2nd November 1995 and is headed 'Watches retained on retirement, guards regulator, J.Chalcraft London Bridge Station'. A superb survivor.
